A Dry Leaf in My Hair

A trending conversation about one actress’s hair prompted me to examine my own hair with new eyes. In that moment, a simple dry leaf became a jewel, and a brief encounter with nature turned into a reflection on beauty, gratitude, and the infinite artistry of God. Through this small event, life revealed once again that even the most minor details can carry divine meaning.

“Has God decorated my hair with this dry leaf, or has He sent the leaf to travel through me?”

“A woman smiling with a dry leaf caught in her hair, standing near a calm river and bridge with mountains in the background.”
“A Dry Leaf in My Hair.”

A Trend and a Question

Today, when I saw an article about an actress and how people were discussing her hair, a question was born in me. Yet, it did not arrive suddenly. It felt like the way a woman conceives a child, its existence beginning long before birth, with the quiet moment when the seed takes root.

My life has been a sincere search to understand and know the existence of God. And just as God has remained my focus, the universe has placed certain characters, events, and signs in my path, asking me to reflect and learn. Truly, there is no greater master than life itself.

From Actress’s Hair to My Own

Today, I wanted to write something that reflected both the time we live in and the essence of my lifestyle—woven together with a personal experience. Across the world, people were talking about Kyle Richards’ hair. For me, this trend became a sign, an arrow pointing toward a deeper journey.

I realized my hair is also beautiful, but I had never looked at it with such awareness. So, I went to the mirror to see my blooming hair. I smiled at my reflection, whispered “I love you” to my hair, and apologized for never noticing them before. I thanked Google, the people, and Kyle Richards for making me honestly look.

“That dry leaf became my jewel, living life with me for a few brief moments.”

The Photo

This photo of my hair was taken at The Huntington Botanical Gardens. When Aeriana took the picture, I said:

“Has God decorated my hair with this dry leaf, or has He sent the leaf to travel through me?”

For a few moments, that dry leaf became my jewel. It shared my life in silence. And I wondered: did the leaf, too, feel something during our meeting? Was our encounter necessary for its journey as much as for mine?

The Flow of Life

Events happen in life, and they embrace the world in their own perfect way. My lifestyle today is to see, to know, and to understand how a person’s life flows in the great ocean of the universe.

In my journey, whether it is a dry leaf, Rabb, a garden, Aeriana, a camera, or the quiet feeling of the trees, each moment places me at the edge of an unseen life. And there, at that edge, my existence begins to understand the infinite colors of God’s art.

Today, I thank Google, today’s time, today’s trend, and all of you.
